Appointment of Dan Martin as Executive Director

FernCare Free Clinic is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Martin as Executive Director. Dan will be replacing Ann Heler, who is retiring at the end of March.

Dan comes to FernCare with a background in health care and non-profit leadership. Dan has been a vocal supporter of the clinic and its mission from the start and is committed to furthering the work of the organization to enhance lives and championing thriving communities by bringing health care to the most vulnerable.

Ann Heler’s retirement comes at the end of a 12-year career at FernCare. As one of the original founders, Ann has worked tirelessly to grow and advance the mission of FernCare into the remarkable organization it has become today. Ann’s work will be honored at this year’s FernCare Annual Dinner on September 10th, 2020. Tickets will soon be available at www.FernCare.org.

“We expect a smooth change of leadership with no disruption to clinic operations.” Board President Rudy Serra reported. “Our volunteers are the key to success for our patients, and our priority during this transition is to ensure they have everything necessary to maintain the high quality of care that they have been used to receiving.”
