Kroger Community

We participate in the Kroger Community Awards program. Go to the Kroger Community Awards Program on the Kroger website, and sign up. A percentage of your bill is then donated to FernCare. This will be acknowledged at the bottom of each Kroger receipt. Once again, thank you!

 

Amazon Programs

FernCare Free Clinic participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program that lets sites earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. It’s free to join and easy to use.

We also participate in the AmazonSmile program, which donates a portion of each sale to FernCare Free Clinic.

On your first visit to AmazonSmile, you are prompted to select a charitable organization from the list of eligible organizations. If you already participate in AmazonSmile and want to change your charity to FernCare Free Clinic, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to smile.amazon.com

  2. From your desktop, go to Your Account from the navigation at the top of any page, and select the option to Change your Charity. From your mobile browser, select Change your Charity from the options at the bottom of the page.

  3. Select a new charitable organization to support.

Need a charitable donation at tax time?  FernCare is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization, EIN # 32-0246843.

Tithe FernCare

Donate a percentage of your monthly income.  Automatically donate through PayPal or through your checking account.

Service Organizations and Social Clubs

Organizations like the Elks, Moose, Masons, Eastern Star, VFW and American Legion all have social missions and a desire to give back to an organization in the community. Please nominate FernCare for grants or donations.

Casual Friday, Work Day Pause, Blue Jean Day

Nominate FernCare as your cause of the week or month and encourage your associates to donate money.

Employer Match

Does your workplace make a donation to an organization when one of their employees volunteers there? Does it match employee donations to a charity? Check with your Human Resources or Philanthropy departments. FernCare will verify all volunteer time.

Memoriam

Remember a special someone after they pass by suggesting that friends and family donate to FernCare in their memory as an alternative to flowers and plants.

Gift Cards

Consider donating unused retail gift cards from stores like Meijer, Kroger, Target, CVS and Walmart to FernCare. We always need items from these stores and would appreciate the help. 

Life events

For birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and events like bar or bat mitzvahs, confirmations, and weddings, request donations to FernCare in lieu of personal gifts.

Individual Donor Giving/Planned Giving

When creating a will; a bequest to FernCare in honor of a family member or memory. When talking to your Attorney regarding end of year donations; IRA Charitable Rollovers, Charitable Gift Annuities, Appreciated Stork, Gifts of Personal Property and Planned Giving, please remember FernCare.
