2019 40 Under 40 Crain's Detroit Business Award

Kate Baker was selected as one of the recipients. The recipients are selected based on career accomplishments, impact in their field and contributions to their communities.

2019 September Daily Points of Light Volunteer

Ann Heler was selected as a 2019 September Daily Points of Light Volunteer. The award celebrates the power of individuals to lead and lead support to causes they care about.

PA’s That Make A Difference

Amy Davisson, clinic manager, was acknowledged as one of the PA’s That Make A Difference by the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants, 2017.

National Award of Excellence in Nursing – Practical

Diane Dengate, co-head nurse, received the National Award of Excellence in Nursing – Practical by the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nursing, 2017. She also received the Oakland University Nightingale Award, 2017. This was her third nomination.

 

14 Esteemed Women of Michigan

Kate Baker, current and founding FernCare Free Clinic board member, was named among the 14 Esteemed Women of Michigan by Bernstein Community Clinic, 2016.

Ferndale Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year

Pam Bellaver, board member and counseling team member was named the Ferndale Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year, 2016.

WONder Woman Award

Ann Heler, president, board of directors, has received the WONder Woman Award from Women Officials Network, WON Foundation, 2015.

Esteemed Women of Michigan award

Ann Heler, president, board of directors, has received the Esteemed Women of Michigan award from the Bernstein Community Clinic, 2015.

Community Partner Award

FernCare Free Clinic Volunteers received a Community Partner Award from Citizens for a Fair Ferndale, 2013.

Michigan Health Care Heroes Award

Ann Heler, president, board of directors, has received the Michigan Health Care Heroes Award from MichUHCAN, 2012.

Person of Note

Ann Heler, president, board of directors, has received the Person of Note from Mitch Albom’s Heart of Detroit, 2012.

Ruby Award

Ann Heler, president, board of directors, has received the Ruby Award from the Soroptimists of Royal Oak, 2011.

Person of the Year

Ann Heler, president, board of directors, has received the Person of the Year from Ferndale 115, 2010.
